Information on processing of personal data (Art. 13 – Italian Legislative Decree n. 196 / 2003)

Pursuant to Art. 13 of the Italian Data Protection Code, Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003, Argotec S.r.l. informs that any personal data provided by users will be processed in accordance with the above regulation, in compliance with the following criteria.

PURPOSE OF THE DATA PROCESSING

Collection, use and storage of personal data will be carried out for:

According to the mentioned law, the processing of personal data shall follow the principles of correctness, legality and transparency and protection of your privacy rights.

METHOD OF DATA PROCESSING

Data will be processed for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected, by adopting appropriate security measures to prevent any access to data by unauthorized persons, and to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the personal data.

Users’ data will be handled using appropriate manners and tools in order to protect their security and privacy; access thereto may be either manual or by means of electronic or automated memory.

Handling of personal data will include all operations as indicated by law, and necessary to process the personal data, including communication to third parties, as mentioned in paragraph 4.

Some details may be subject to transmission via telecommunications networks, either using a local protected network or via the internet.

With regard to the latter the data will be subject to the standard security measures assured by the net.

The data will be processed by employees of Argotec S.r.l. and/or other companies authorised by Argotec S.r.l. for the data processing and storage.

All personnel will be identified appropriately, trained, and aware of the restrictions imposed by Legislative Decree No. 196/2003.

NATURE OF THE PERSONAL DATA PROVISION

Submission of personal data is necessary for the attainment of the above mentioned purposes. It will not be possible to achieve the above mentioned purposes without provision of your personal data.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data will not be communicated or transferred to third parties, with the exception of other specific companies authorised by Argotec S.r.l. to process the personal data for the purposes indicated in paragraph 1. In this event the personal data will be processed using the same level of security and privacy.

OFFICIAL DATA PROCESSOR

The official personal data processor is Argotec S.r.l., with registered office at via Cervino 52, Turin 10155, Italy, in the person of its legal representative David Avino. The interested persons may make requests regarding their rights by sending an email to privacy@argotecgroup.com.

RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY

Users are entitled to exercise their rights in relation to the use of their personal data pursuant to Art. 7 of the Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, the full text of which is reproduced below.

Art. 7 (Right of access to personal data and other rights)

  1. The person concerned has the right to obtain confirmation of whether personal data concerning him or her exists or not - even though it may not have been recorded yet - and to have it communicated to him or her in an understandable form.
  2. The person concerned is entitled to obtain information about:
    • the origin of his/her personal data;
    • the purposes and methods of its processing;
    • the logics applied in the event of processing being carried out using electronic instruments;
    • the identification details of the data processor, of the “responsible” and appointed “representative” in the meaning of Art. 5, Paragraph 2;
    • the people or categories of people to whom the data may be distributed or who may become aware of it in their capacity of designated representatives in any area of the country, officers or appointees.
  3. The person concerned is entitled to obtain:
    • updates, corrections or, where interested therein, additions to the personal data;
    • erasure, blocking, or transformation into an anonymous form of data which has been processed unlawfully, including the data which does not need to be stored for the purposes they were collected or subsequently processed for;
    • a declaration that the operations referred to in letters a) and b) above have been made known, even with regards to their content, to those people to whom the data has been communicated or distributed, except in the case where compliance with this is found to be impossible or involves the use of means that are manifestly out of proportion compared to the right being safeguarded.
  4. The person concerned has the right to object, entirely or in part:
    • for legitimate reasons, the processing of personal data regarding him/her, even if it may be relevant to the aims of the data collection;
    • the processing of personal data regarding him/her for the purposes of sending publicity or direct sales material or for carrying out market research or commercial communications.
